
Teenage suicide is a growing concern in the country, as stats shows 1 in 5 teenagers have attempted to commit suicide. This episode looks at some of the reasons pushing teenagers to commit suicide and reflect the devastation such deaths leaves behind as we look at one case where a teenager committed suicide. We also get to speak to a survivor and hear reasons that pushed her to considering committing suicide.

Community of Ward 5 in Polokwane has been struggling with service delivery for years. Particularly roads, water supply and health care. The story also highlight a situation where an 82 year old opened a case of assault against the ward councillor. The victim believes its due to his public complain about poor state of roads. Residents claim that they are only heard when they protests.

The National Child Protection Week is commemorated annually from the last week of May to the first week of June. Communities dependent on the Klip River ecosystem have called on the Department of Water and Sanitation to file criminal charges against polluters. This follows a study by the University of Johannesburg on the river, which shows that the water contains chemicals that, if consumed by humans or animals, can cause cancer. Additionally, those living next to the river, including livestock farmers and fishermen, complain that when there is a funeral or a wedding in the townships, full dustbins are emptied into the river, including dead dogs.
