The African Independent Congress, PAC, United Independent Movement, GOOD, APC and COPE parties have thrown their support behind Morero, ahead of a motion of no confidence to be tabled against him at a end of the month meeting.  This comes after the Minority Governing Parties - comprising the UDM, Al Jam-ah, ATM and AHC submitted a Motion of No Confidence against him. A culpable homicide case has been opened at Seshego police station in connection with an untimely death of a three year-old child found locked inside a motor vehicle on Monday 27 October 2025.  At about 15:10, police received a complaint about a culpable homicide incident at Seshego hospital and rushed to the premises.
