The wall of two classrooms has collapsed at Tiyiselani primary school at Gandlanani village near Malamulele in Limpopo. No injuries were reported as the learners were not in classes when the incident happened. SGB suspects flooding as the soil is waterlogged due to rains. The Federation says it is disappointed that government has only slightly reduced the salary increase for politicians of four point one percent that was recommended by the Independent Commission for the Remuneration of Public Office Bearers to three point eight percent. Parliamentary Coordinator Matthew Parks says while they are irritated by the salary increase of politicians and judges, they support the adjustment of magistrates' salaries. He says most galling is the inclusion of more than nine thousand- three hundred municipal councillors under whose watch the state of municipal finances and services has deteriorated at an alarming rate ...
